Machine and plant operator (M|W|D)

The two-year apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator is versatile and interesting. Machine and plant operators set up production plants and machines, put them into operation and also operate them. They are also responsible for the equipment and maintenance of the machines. In the course of the apprenticeship, you will specialize in sheet metal processing in our company

what awaits you

You will learn how to set up our manufacturing machines and equipment, commission them and operate them. During your training, you will also learn how to take orders on the PC and prepare the subsequent work steps. It also involves setting up or retooling components, adjusting manufacturing processes or operating the machine manually. During production, you monitor the processes and check the intermediate results. You detect faults at an early stage and replace or repair defective components.
